Dima Hanania Kash
Advisory Board Member
I was born and raised in Burke, VA, but moved to Ramallah, Palestine in 2005 to bebcloser to relatives. I graduated from the Ramallah Friends School before moving to Greensboro, NC to study Political Science and Environmental Studies at Guilford College. I returned to Ramallah and worked with NGOs and charities before becoming the project manager for the 3G data project at Jawwal Telecommunications. I moved to North Ridgeville, OH in 2017 and I currently own Cleveland Sweets, a home bakery. I am a mother to two beautiful boys and a wife to a loving and supportive husband. I also serve on several committees through the American Federation of Ramallah Palestine.
My idol is my grandfather, who was an English teacher in Jerusalem. At any given time, I could find him reading a good book, showing us magic tricks, making olive oil soap, tending to his vegetable garden, reciting Arabic poetry or listening to the radio he walked around with. He was never one for materialistic things, always preferring to enjoy the simpler things in life. He was a hard worker, kind, and honest, and he instilled those qualities in all of his grandchildren.
I am very excited to serve on this board where we can bring together Arab American
professionals and build a community for future generations; where we have each other’s best interests at heart and where we can all prosper.
