My name is Imaan Ganim and I am a second-generation Palestinian American. I was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. I have a huge passion for people and business which helped me obtain my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Cleveland State University in Human Resources and Labor Relations. I am currently an HR Strategy and Solutions Consultant for Deloitte and I really enjoy what I do. My biggest influences growing up were my mother, Sabah, my grandfather, Mohamed, and the Kattan sisters because they all defeated odds to become successful and established amazing legacies through their journeys.
When it comes to our heritage, I am most proud of the sense of unity that has been a lasting part of our communities and I believe that the generations before us are owed a huge thanks for keeping that alive. Together as one, we can achieve all. With our inclusiveness, our culture, and our passion for generosity, we have the power to utilize the tool of networking to bring our roots to life and help others succeed along the way. One of my favorite quotes comes from Mahatma Gandhi and it reads, “Be the change you wish to see in the world” – and this resonates with me because it sheds light on all the impact we truly have.
